Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern all access and use of the online ruler, calibration features, measurement pins, and educational guides provided by Jougi Online ("this website").

By accessing or using any part of this service, you explicitly agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to all provisions, you must discontinue use immediately.

We provide an on-screen actual-size (1:1 scale) ruler utility free of charge for convenient, non-commercial reference measurements across computers, smartphones, and tablets.

The tool is designed for everyday estimation, DIY planning, craft projects, and flea-market package dimension checks.

1. While we use advanced pixel density algorithms and physical coin/card calibration, factors such as OS scaling, non-standard DPI, and tempered glass protectors can produce minor discrepancies.
2. Measurements generated by this service cannot be used for official legal metrology certification, statutory compliance, or industrial quality control.
3. Exercise caution when resting physical objects or coins on touchscreens. Jougi Online is not liable for scratches, cracks, or mechanical damage caused to your device.

All software code, canvas rendering logic, UI designs, graphics, articles, trademarks, and the mascot character "Jougi-kun" remain the exclusive property of Jougi Online.

Users may not duplicate, reverse engineer, scrape, re-distribute, or build derivative competing products without prior written authorization.

In using this service, you agree not to engage in any of the following activities:

• Imposing disproportionate traffic loads on our servers or disrupting site infrastructure.
• Conducting unauthorized scraping, bot crawling, or data extraction.
• Probing or exploiting security vulnerabilities, or attempting reverse engineering.
• Cloning code or UI assets to launch competing copycat services.
• Violating applicable domestic or international laws.

We reserve the right to temporarily suspend, update, or discontinue the service at any time without prior notice for maintenance, updates, or technical reasons.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jougi Online is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for incidental, consequential, or economic damages resulting from mismeasurements or service interruptions.

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising in connection with the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.
